The fact that Michelle Samerjan incorporates different elements, materials, and textures into her original works is what sets her apart from most other painters. We enjoy the colorful, yet subdued quality of her paintings. Once properly framed, the antique artifacts and fabrics that are integrated into these "textural landscapes", as she calls them, give the entire composition that 3-dimensional... dimension(!) that appeals to our particular taste.
